A PROFILE

Our Unit is situated at Kanhangad, northern most part of Kerala, India, which is well accessible by Rail and Road. Basically we are engaged in the Mining and Processing of China Clay and Kaolin for various industrial applications having domestic and overseas markets. Our production activity in our Kaolin Division was commenced in the year 1976. In the year 1984, as a diversification of activity we started manufacture of Allopathic Drugs and both our Kaolin and Pharma Divisions are doing fairly well having a large number of well satisfied clientele.
 
Our nearest Air Port is Mangalore which is also a Sea Port town. We are also well connected with the Sea ports at Mumbai, Chennai and Cochin.
 
The Research and Development work for the development of different grades of China Clay and Kaolin has been a continuous programme since the inception of our unit and we could develop Pharma Grade Kaolin viz; Light Kaolin IP, Light Kaolin BP and Kaolin USP. In the year 1978, we could come out successful with the manufacture of these products on a commercial scale under valid Drug Manufacturing Licence issued by the Drugs Controller and Licencing Authority with GMP Certification. Within a short span of 5 years, our product could muster 70 % of the domestic market-share following the approval of the products by large Indian Pharmaceutical companies and the then Multi National Companies having manufacturing facilities in India like Pfizer, Glaxo, Abbot, John Wyeth, Smithkline, Geoffery Manners, May & Baker, Aventis, Hoechst, etc.
 
We continue to enjoy the largest share of Pharma Grade Kaolin in India. We have been also exporting our products viz., Kaolin Light BP, Kaolin Heavy BP and Kaolin USP to overseas through reputed export houses in India. We have obtained Import Export Code from Joint Director General of Foreign Trade and now entered into direct export. We are a member of the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council set up by Ministry of Commerce, Government of India Viz. PHARMEXCIL.
 
We are one of the leading manufacturers of Processed China Clay which finds application in a plethora of domestic industries viz., Fiber Glass, Ceramic Tiles, Paints, Paper, Rubber, Detergents, Cosmetics, Pesticides, Fertilizer etc. We have a large list of well satisfied customers from all segments including various Multi-National Companies.We have a team of qualified, dedicated and committed personnel to look after the production supported by a well equipped Quality Assurance Department. We have business coordinators in different part of the country to personally monitor on the demand and after- sales service.
